More about Mila

Mila is gluten-free, non-GMO, sugar-free and high in antioxidants, fiber and protein. After harvesting, Mila seeds are "micro-sliced" to optimize the bioavailability and nutritional value of the Omega 3 nutrition.

Mila contains the perfect ratio of 3:1 (3 Omega 3 to 1 Omega 6). Omega 3's are clinically proven to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, stabilize heart arrhythmia, lower blood pressure, act as a natural blood thinner and increase HDL ("good") cholesterol.

Mila's ability to hold water will keep the body hydrated and help retain electrolytes in body fluids longer — especially during extreme exertion — more so than sports drinks or even water.

Mila slows down the conversion of sugars in the body. Mila achieves this by absorbing 14 times its weight in water. A gel forms around each seed causing a slow release of carbohydrates and an equally slow conversion of carbohydrates into sugar for energy.

Mila supplies many of the raw materials for forming the walls of cells, making them soft and pliable, which makes it easy for oxygen and nutrients to supply energy and body heat and easy exit for carbon dioxide and wastes.

Why order from OMG*Omega3?

FIT FOR LIFE brought to you by OMG*Omega3

All proceeds from the sale of Mila will be donated to the FIT FOR LIFE Fund to benefit CrossFit Kids™. This is a new 501 c (3) non-profit specifically to benefit the children of our armed forces serving overseas. The FIT FOR LIFE Fund will pay to send children of the armed forces to Crossfit Kids while they are stationed overseas.

As a child of a military family, I have experienced the stress the family endures while a parent is overseas. The best way that I can think of to help children of military families is to give them a community that offers nutrition and exercise. We all know that good nutrition choices and the self-esteem from a regular exercise program help us — imagine what it can do for children at risk?
